5 easy steps to get your Companies House Personal Code.
Our Companies House ID verification service is available for clients and as a one off service for none clients. The checks can be carried out in person at our Sunderland Office or over the internet using Whats App, Teams or Zoom. Our staff are trained to home office standards and are able to check UK and Overseas documents.

Step 1 - Book you ID verification slot.
Complete the no obligation booking form to use our ID Verification service. This will calculate the price depending on your circumstances and the method of check to be carried out. You are also required to provide some basic information.
Step 2 - Pay the appropriate fee.
Pay the fee for the service you have selected. We cannot verify your ID until the fee has been paid. Please note the fee is for checking your ID and is not a guarantee that your verification will be successful. We may ask for additional ID or require more information if the initial checks are inconclusive at no extra cost.
Step 3 - Supply you ID documents.
We can only verify ID from the specific authorised list found at this step. If you selected for online teams, zoom or what’s app verification method, you will need to email acsp@1stcloudaccountants with your ID in advance for pre-checks.
Step 4 - Verify your ID in real time.
We will arrange a date and time to complete an live check of the data via zoom, teams, what’s app or in person at our Sunderland Office. After the live check is complete we may need to complete other security checks with the issuing authorities of the ID you have supplied. We also need to complete some statutory paperwork to meet our legal obligations. For UK only documents this is normally within 1 working day. For overseas ID checks this may take up to 5 working days for verifications.
Step 5 - Notification of outcome .
You will be notified of the outcome of the ID check via the email address supplied. All successful verification will also receive the unique identifier code. This is your Companies House Personal Code and can be used for all your directorships, person of significant control and members of LLP across all companies you represent.
