Acceptable Evidence of Identification Documents
Below is the list of identification documents acceptable for Companies House ACSP identity verification. You are required to provide either, two documents from Group A or one from Group A and one from Group B. If you are unable to provide these documents (either UK or overseas documents where applicable) we will not be able to verify you.
Group A – Must be 1 or 2 documents from this group.
- Passport or Irish Passport Card (Up to 18 months expired)
- Identity Card with Biometric Information from the EU, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein
- UK Biometric Residence Card
- UK Accredited PASS Card
- UK or EU Driver Digital Tachograph Card
- UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and EU Photocard Driving Licence
- UK HM Forces ID Card
- UK HM Armed Forces Veteran Card
- UK Frontier Worker Permit
- Photographic Work Permit (Government Issued)
- Photographic Immigration Document
- Photographic Visa
- UK, Channel Islands and isle of Man Firearms Licence
Group B – Must be 1 from this group if not submitting two group A documents.
- Utility Bill – Gas, Electricity, or Water Invoice (Most recent document)
- Bank or Building Society Statement (Most recent document)
- UK Local Authority or Social Housing Rental Agreement (For your current address)
- Mortgage Statement (For your current address)
- UK Council Tax Statement (For your current address)
- Birth or Adoption Certificate
- Marriage or Civil Partnership Certificate
- Non-photographic Immigration Document
- Non-photographic Visa
- Non-photographic Work Visa
Submitting your documents.
If we are verifying the documents over the internet or Whats app call, we will need your documents in advance. Please email your documents to ACSP@1stcloudaccountants.co.uk
If you have an in office appointment then please bring the original documents with you for checking. We CANNOT verify photocopies or printed copies of passport, driving licenses, birth/adoption certificates, work permits, Visa etc. However we can verify internet printed utility bills, mortgages statements, bank statements, rates bills and rental agreements.
