Darlington Borough Council 

“A letter is being sent today (24th March 2020) to all business that are eligible for either the Small Business Grant Fund (SBGF) or the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Fund (RHLGF). Details of how to access these grants are included in the letter.”

Hartlepool Council –

“We are writing to all businesses using our Business Rates database but we would also encourage all businesses to ensure we have their correct contact details.”

North Tyneside Council – Online application now available

Redcar and Cleveland Council 

“The Council will shortly be sending out letters to businesses who are eligible for Small Business Rates Relief or are in the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Sectors to set out how we will be paying the grants of £10,000 and £25,000 that were announced by Government.  Businesses will be asked to provide us with a copy of their latest bank statement showing their business account number, sort code, name and address.   If your business falls into this category and has not received a letter from us by 27 March, please contact us on the numbers below:
